Hello! We're Red String Studio, and we love to make stuff! Started in 2023 by two partners with a dream to build an electronic Frog Badge for Defcon 31, Red String Studio is now an engineering and design studio dedicated to making community-driven, educational tools with a focus on accessibility and fun. Our team consists of Nikki, who does art and design through her own brand, The Crow & Pigeon, and Sam, who handles the technical aspects such as hardware design and software engineering. Finally, our dog Sebastian is in charge of morale, customer support, and snack testing.
